sap from xmas tree

can anyone help my daughter brought real xmas tree when she took it down the sap had stained her carpet can anyone suggest a product which will remove this stain
I would be eternally grateful for any help

has she tried to remove the stain her self, if so,with what

where abouts is the property

had this happen to me yesterday on my own carpet! an axminster, removed it with eco spotter and solution spotter, took a bit of doing though but didnt need machine on it. hope this helps. stu

Just had a phone call from a friend, she has done the same, I have not had a chance to look at it yet though.

In the past we have had marks from plant pots which is probably the same type of stain, so far I have never been able to shift one of those yet!  I will give solution No 3 a go

I normally pre-treat with Hydromaster Orange Jel.

After 5-10 minutes dwell, scrape up what you can, then finish with Eco Spotter proir to rinsing..
