i know some of you guys have built your rounds by dropping leaflets , and as my round has grown i am finding it difficult to find the time to door knock  , so i am thinking of delivering 5000 leaflets a month , has anyone done this sort of volume before and what sort of response have you got , i was hoping for maybe 25 jobs per 5000 dropped , what have you achieved from this level of leaflet drop , i,ve got 2 reliable people ready to do the work , so what has been your experience , regards alan

My personal experiance is that over the past 85 weeks I have put out 19,265 leaflets and this has generated 214 accounts ...now within that I have had a fair number from word of mouth...I have not as yet counted that....but I will...

Leaflets have been good for me...but who is to say what they will do for you...

I tend to releaflet each of my area's (that I have current intrest in) about every 12 to 14 weeks....so my figure is not for 19,265 different houses..

i think the royal mail do leaflet drops for you. obviously it is at a cost. think its on thier website somewhere

19, 265 gezz thats quite a few.

I lent to leaflet drop the same areas every 8 weeks to compact rounds. I should keep a not of how many I put out, but have not dont this,

I normally put out a couple of hundred sometimes less and get about 5 new customers from them this goes up after time sometimes years later as some people do keep them.

If you do 5,000 leaflets, Should get between 1% to 2% which is 50 to100 new customers.

I have to admit I am constantly suprised at the amount of customers that can be 'drawn' out of the same area's...and also when people say I have never heard of you...when I know I have put 7 leaflets through their letter box....

It is a numbers game and repeat, repeat, repeat....I have to admit I believe I shall still be shoving leaflets through letter boxes for the next 3 to 5 years...
