signwriting at last - escort van.
« on: April 11, 2008, 09:04:28 am »
Thanks to a chap here on cleanitup, I found a reasonable sign writing company who made me two large logos for the side panels plus email addys and phone numbers for each, plus two smaller logos (for the bonnet and rear) with two lots of email addys and numbers, all for £80 delivered to my door...not bad eh!

They were delivered on Wednesday and I took the afternoon off to fit them. I've helped a mate out doing a few signs a couple of years back so learnt a bit about fitting the vinyl  and thought I might as well have a go at fitting these.

I didn't do too bad, bodged one tiny bit up where I managed to get a crinkle in one of the large logos but unless you're looking for it you would probably miss it. I didn't bother with the bonnet logo, instead I put it on my mrs rear window on her car along with numbers and email, twice the advertising me thinks?

Nice Sign Writing.

Do you need your ladders to overhang so much at the back?

An insurance claim waiting to happen? ::)

like the way you thought outside the box as it were ( your logo going outside the edges of the grooved panel) i had a ford courier and the signage was'nt as big as I'd have liked because i kept inside the panels, good job

Looks good.  Much more imaginative than my plain text effort.  Got mine done in Horsham - not so far from you.

LOL I did think that too but I reckon you'd have to be some sort of divvy to not understand what its all about....but some mothers do av em i spose, maybe i'll get a little one made up also in white that says "window cleaning" or something just to stick underneath the logos!  8)

thanks, believe it or not it took me ages to think of that!! only because I was thinking of names for it that were over complicated so I thought 'd just swap those two words round and then decided on cleaner windows in the belief the windows will be cleaner after I've cleaned them  ;D ;D :P

That's a neat play on words for a company name.
