Hi, My name is Simon Davis.
I run a training company called Acting Up and specialise in cleaning NVQ's. I feel passionately about giving cleaning employees the chance to improve their self confidence and for employers to show their positivity towards workers who work within a difficult and at times an undervalued field of employment.
I have my own accreditation Centre under the umbrella of the EDI Awarding body.
I can offer at the moment free Government funded qualification for cleaners in the South West region, ( Bristol, Somerset, Dorset, Devon, Cornwall, Avon, Glos' as well as all of the London area.
At present I am working in partnership with a London borough council, Several Colleges, National and small independant Cleaning companies in the above areas. We are experienced in delivering to all types of cleaner especially workers from a foreign background where perhaps English is a secondary language.
Bear in mind that the Government have instigated policy that will require the majority of workers in this country (in all vocational fields) to try to achieve a first time Level 2 qualification, often a vocationally related one. If you represent a large Government office, College, NHS, Social services etc, asking for your contracted or employed cleaners to become qualified to a level 2 standard shows not only that your staff have reached a consistent, professional level of working competence and knowledge but can also help towards your 3 and 5 year development plans that state that internal and contracted staff will achieve a consistent level of vocational training and qualification with a first time Level 2 a priority.
We can also help with related qualification for companies such as Business Admin', Management, Team Leading, the Assessor Award and Customer Service.
