in fact carpet cleaning is a little bit like making love to a beautiful woman.

First you have to get her to agree to your proposal. Then you have to get your equipment out, the bigger the better(but must be clean). She will feel very short changed if you are a splash and dash merchant. Take your time, go through all the key phases without taking short cuts.

Hopefully she will be well satisfied and recommend you to her friends.

I don't have a problem with pricing. I have a problem with getting the phone to ring. One week in November I brought £995 in four days working 9 to 2. This year I am struggling to get the phone ringing. I have Yellow Pages, Yell.com, 1st page sponsored Google listing, leafleting campaign, local newspaper adverts, Parish mag adverts. What am I doing wrong?

But.
As far as women are concerned men are like a good carpet , it only needs laid and looked after correctly and you will have good use of it  for many years.

Prodry put your prices up on your website by £4 a carpet and see who books, if they have 3 carpets cleaned at say new price of £24 x 3 = £72 you have your same total as before but you could afford to lose 20% of customers if you put up your prices 20% and earnthe same money (well actually your costs wouldgo down)
