Can someone tell me how to backup from a palmtop to george . I have no problem doing it the other way round, but can't seem to figure this part out.
Thanks

When you do a hot sync all info is transferred from pocket george to your computer you then do the back up and all info is saved

Hi

Install the configuration program from the bottom of this page:
http://www.georgesystems.co.uk/PktGeorge/pktgeorge.html

Then run it and tick Live Updates.

I must be thick as I'm having problems here ??? I have installed the utility as Paul said, but I can't see anywhere how to tick Live Updates ??? ??? The programme runs. I get a box asking if I want to proceed. Once that is pressed, I get Process complete. No sign of Live Updates anywhere :(

Hi

If you really mean "reboot" then that's fine.

If you mean reformat/reinstall Windows, that's different...

All the real data is on the PC - you can't re-create it by doing a HotSync.

If you are using our Internet Backup system you don't need to - I will send your live data back to you.

If you aren't - don't forget to do regular backups to a USB or external drive.
