Buying-Force

Anyone used them? We've been trying to get in with a large property management company and have been told to join Buying Force as they source suppliers this way.

Any experience, join up info, fees etc would be useful.

Cheers.

hi there

no experience,

i am always weary of buying consortiums, there are advantages and disadvantages.

disadvantages

if the buying consortium has all the suppliers but not the fuflfillment of clients, then you have negotiated a rock bottom price for not a great deal of work.

who is running the show, the supplier the middleman or the client.

and what is the middleman getting out of it.

advantage

you could get an endless stream of work, at a good price in relation to the cost of you selling your products or services direct to the client.

you as a business have to make a decision regarding the benefits.

we have relationships with a number of middlemen, and manage them accordingly,  some are better than others,  we have a new relationship, which is new from january and it is going very well.

so good luck, business is business, you have to decide if its good business.

regards

martin
