« on: March 22, 2008, 05:11:14 pm »
well then its a bit help a need.what everyone think of gg4 or the unger stuff compared to fairy liquid.its the only thing my dad has used in 32 years to clean the windows.with doing the frames i have only used a tea towel with a bit bleach on to clean them up.whats the Microfibre Cloth like for frames?

just looking into getting all new gear for the lads and me looking at getting the Unger Monsoon Sleeve or the Ettore Porcupine Sleeve.as for squeegees SPC 3x4 Adjustable or the Unger ErgoTec as for blades we have always used Ettore find them to be the best

bit info back for you i make doors windows etc etc we make them for b&q and wicks howden

when we clean the doors before we send them out we use ,lotoxane hd,and if there is more of a stubben stain we use Deodorant Alcohol ones it takes most stuff off.hope this helps you out

thanks for any replys

GG3 is for soft water areas, gg4 for hard.

I use gg4 as in very hard water area, coming from fairy it does take a bit of getting used to as it does not give as much slide, but the end results are better.

I use both microfibre and scrim, I use mostly ergotec stuff for trad work but 95% of work is wfp now.

I used to clean frames with the same water I would wash the window and scrim or micro them after but as good as each other on that IMO, micro is better for detailing windows again IMO.

any stubborn stains would be Upvc cleaner and never once had a problem used scrim with the cleaner though dont know why didnt want to mess up the micros I guess but thats the only reason.

hope that helped a little.
