i put my house on the market this week , and so this morning i cleaned my fascias and conservatory roof etc....
it got me thinking that all the houses for sale in the area probably would want their gutters etc cleaned so i will be designing a leaflet or letter specifically targeting these potential custies...

then i will drive around and post them wherever i see a for sale sign....

houses go on the market all the time and so it will be an ongoing thing....my goal is to get 1 job a week, a nice add on to my already full round

I did this when i first started out as i was building my rounds. Got quite a bit of work and also a few regular customers that were staying in the area. Also speak to a few estate agents and give them some leaflets to hand out to potential customers, it helps them to sell the house if it looks sparkling.

Go with it, what do you have to lose few £ on leaflets if it does not work.
You could be on to a winner try it and see

Go for it and a one-off clean is always going to be a good price (or should be)

One of my neighbours is a director/co owner of a chain of estate agents. I collared him and said i'm now doing kerbside appeal cleans.
He claimed he didn't know what I was talking about and not to watch any of the tv property programmes??? I think there might be a bit of jealousy, he's got the beamer four by four while i've got the signwriten scudo, but my house is grander.
Anyway I'm sure there is a market.

The only problem i see is that most people have a windowcleaner anyway. I have approached several property owners with filthy fascias and guttering to offer my services. The answer i normally get is "we have a cleaner who will do that if we ask him thank you". Good idea though and one i thought of too. The estate agents i asked wanted a flyer with prices printed. I'm not keen on printing set prices - too many differing properties out there.

simple and direct

big letters " fascia & gutter cleaning"....
"conservatory roof cleaning"

if you can pencil in a quote if your familiar with the style of property...

or put prices on the leaflet eg £2 per metre

On mine as a heading i had "Want help in selling your home" Then a little blurb about first impressions, services ie  clean windows, clear and cleaned gutters and fascias ect. They were A5 double sided with before and after pics. I like what Mr S put about kerbside appeal.
