false economy.
You'll get your money back from decent pole. Speed, lightness etc.
I'm getting a sl-x. Cant really afford it but I know it will pay for itself in the long run.

its for spare poles, so i can carry on working,  if anything happens. rather than go home and wait for repairs/new pole.

If you get an SL-X you shouldn't need spares.  ;D

The sl-x is telescopic and I think its going to be £340+vat. 3 times more expensive than a 18"pred(I'm using the predator at the moment) but it will also mean I wont need a mid-size pole.

arnt you listenening lol? rolls royces do break down and all poles are not invincible.....

i said i want a couple of cheap poles as spares, so i can carry on working if anything happens....

now that is true economy in my eyes... well in my lasses eyes, as it will mean i can still put bread and water on the table  ;D

When a rolls breaks down they put them on a covered trailered and move them double quick.
