« on: March 16, 2008, 04:10:52 pm »
Thought i would post some pics of this pole and i must say what a great pole we had two full days of using it at 60ft and came hme each day with noachin arms and shoulders lol i know for a fact if we were using some of are other 60ft poles it would have been a lt harder, i was a bit unsu about the brush but it doe a great job although im not sure how long it would last on this type of work.

Now that is where the supalite comes into its own.

I would have put a 16 in brush on for that job though.

Somebody posted a link for a site that enabled you to do it but I post pictures by first hosting them online and copying their address to this site. So in reality you are seeing a picture from another site, it doesnt actually get stored on Cleanitup. I use Picasa and Flickr

Dave if you put a big heavy 16inch brush on it then it ruins the point/fun out of using a light pole, a 16inch vikan weighs nearly 1kg if not more, The sl2 only weighs 1.8kg at 50ft. i agree a 16 inch brush would be better, but no light alternative exists at this moment, except the Tucker, which still is a little heavy, Luke

I know what your saying, but on that job looks like sweeping your backyard with a tooth brush.

Wow. That's some job, Daniel.

No aching arms or back - but what about your neck?

How much glass can you clean, vertically, before having to take a length of pole off - the job must seem never-ending?

Do you ever go inside and inspect your work?

Regards

Mike

On the job picture above I was cleaning 7 in the morning till 7 at night no exaggeration, my dad had to control traffic and he is holding the pole for the picture. I did get an hour break when my dad did the side of part of the building but apart from that I was cleaning 11 hours solid. Biggest working day ever, was wrecked at the end but glad Ive got the sl2, Luke
