Somebody needs George
« on: March 16, 2008, 09:22:01 am »
Had to price up some work on Friday.  A new ish estate with nice big houses on.  We do about 8 on there and had to price up 3 more.  The lady said that they had a window cleaner all last summer.  Then he stopped coming.  Then he turned up, posted a leaflet thro her door then went again.  Then came back a month later and posted another leaflet.   he did the whole estate as some of my customers showed me the leaflet.

Now this chap obviously cant remember his own round as he is canvassing the properties he already does.   Surley he would recognise the houses?????  LOL

I think he is a fair weather cleaner too as he hasn't been seen sinse last autumn.

If he does return to the area I think I will suggest that he buys george.  To help him out.

On a different note.   Do you guys clean your neighbours windows, I mean as customers.  Another crew has stopped working the area where I live including all my imediate neighbours.   I  never really wanted to clean so close to home.
Veni, vidi, vino, splatus.

 (I came, I saw, I drank, I fell over...)

I do mine, but don't like it, However, it's £80 on my doorstep for an hour and a half's work.
The canvassing thing could be the cleaners wife or girlfriend popping leaflets through the doors?

When I send the kids out leafletting for pocket money they have a list of  houses not to deliver to but often forget and deliver to existing customers.
