smallest pole

what is the smallest pole out there as only want something for down stairs jobs on leads and the like
does anyone know of a cheap ish pole on the market?
and if so how much?

Wooden broom handle would be the cheapest and can be sawed down to any length!

may as well get a 17ft x-tel, only 4ft 6" sections and you can use it for "normal  upstairs windows as well."

A good size pole for downstairs is 3ft 6" x 3ft 6",i find it perfect as sometimes you do need that extra reach on large bays etc.Using a 17ft Xtel for downstairs aswell is to heavy allday.

to heavy ???? 17ft xtel is light I use it all day everyday, very rare do I use the 4ft pole I have

x-tel poles are really quite light for fibreglass, slim too i've been using one lately 21' and it's not bad at all, a bit bendy maybe but ok.

thanks guys i normaly use my big pole but after knackering my arm i just wanted to give it a rest some days on the awkward jobs

You cannot go far wrong with a 13ft X-Tel as they really are very light easy to use and can still reach most standard domestic work.

hi jago. trying to get two pictures on of my home made small pole. its very light but strong, hose though the middle with on off valve, keep an eye out ill get them on asap
