Installed tap filter. TDS doesn't change?
«

I know this isnt' exactly window cleaning. But I installed a inline drinking water filter, which filters chlorine and all that sort of stuff, I suspect it to be carbon.
I've ran it for 3 minutes straight as recommended, measured TDS, and it was 10 higher then out of the tap. Today I measured it again, and it's exactly the same TDS as the tap, it just tastes differently.
Why?

Must be yes, but it says it took out all the other stuff aswell, ofcourse I thre away the packaging. It was talking about how many contaminants there are in the water etc. I was like, oh. That's nice. Hooked it up, nothing! lol

TDS - Total Dissolved SOLIDS
Chlorine is not a solid.
