hi too you all , well its really windy today im just outside barnsley south yorkshire . As im new to window cleaning 1st week this week im a bit unsure if problems would be caused by leaving the windows wet and particals contaimnating this . do you guys work in windy weather ? thanks for any advice .

It depends on the heght you are working on and your experence.
As for dirt particles being blown onto the glass after you have cleaned them, what I would do is clean them as normal, them blade the dry.

I only found it a problem on first cleans as there was a lot of dirt comming off the frames and some it found its way back onto the glass as the wind blew it accross. But I've not foud it a problem since. Not as much as finnishing a job only to have the cavity wall guys turn up on the house next door and plaster all your wet windows with brick dust.

i take a chance like today to take stock clean the van garage etc chase invoices etc and write down where i want to be nxt week sort run out and set a target to work to

With care, I worked all day. Its not steady wind but the odd gusts you have to be aware are coming. Hey ho I dont go up ladders anymore so got a full day in. But if you were over 40ft "kiteing" needed to be considered.

windy here in leeds today , i pole houses in the wind no problem, anything higher i don't bother if its gale force!

2 months of dark and wet , two weeks of freezing now it looks like 2 weeks of wind !!!!!!

i was doing 4 th story flats today when the wind gets up not much fun as top of the pole is pretty much like a kite !

My missis has got wind thats why i am in the office
but seriously we worked all day down here in sunny somerset
a little windy but ok
should have had the kite out for a hour but never got the time
still of shopping in the morning down to plymouth
