100mtr of microbore even without a pole it's still slow to pick up.
When i open my pole hose i get an initial spurt of water then i have to wait for the varistream to kick in - is there a cure, i could finish the window by the time it flows strong again.
how high have you got the pumps situated guys?, also how much pipework between the tank outlet and the pump? most pumps are not self priming so if the pipework is long and or the pump is high up, this will cause you problems. you want the pump as close the the level of the tank outlet as possible, with as little pipework as possible.
and what tank have you got?
I know exactly what you mean. It seems like the varistream has gone to sleep and takes a few seconds to wake up. If you turn the blue pot up inside to increase pressure that might help. What I do though is to open the valve for a second just before I clean the window, say before I extend the pole and then when you get to clean the window the pump is ready to go. I've noticed between windows it not such a problem, it's when you've not used the pump for a bit that the time lag comes in.Simon.
