been using one for about a year ,when my luv trolley (motorisd wheel barrow) stopped working i used the motor from barrow bolted on platform  press button and hey presto

If I was designing one it would have to be push and pull, so that it would push the hose out in the right direction and then pull it back from a remote controlled motorised armchair.  :D

To be honest an electic window cleaner without one is a bit of a swiz anyway.And I've got strong suspicions you don't turn your water on while you're scrubbing.

I got a price for a 60 meter 1 inch motor reel for my transfer hose, twas £900+vat.  Purtek

The reason why I wouldn't have one would be the possiblilty of you hand going in and getting mangled.  Not running up and down the ladders you need to get a bit of a work out some where.
