ink spots on cream sofa

One of my customers has a sofa that is covered in ink spots, ive told her as soon as i try to remove them that they will swell and look even worse.Anyone have any answers.Regards steve at polarclean.

If possible zip off the cover with the ink on, then stretch the material with the ink on over the end of the hose then switch the vac on then drop solvents onto the ink the vac will suck the solvent through on contact and take the ink with it, have tried this method a couple of times with success.

If you want to use something really powerful you can rub the stain area with soap then apply one of the chemicals you would'nt dream of using normally (Paul or Doug help me out) the soap suspends the chemical whilst allowing it to do its work slowly and in a controlled manner.

Hairspray applied by a cotton bud is worth a try with a disclaimer is another option.
