I've been told that it's OK to drink water from RO but not after it's been through DI.

Is that correct??

i wouldn't drink either stick to tap or bottled, i can't see why anyone would need to drink pure :

After RO is fine, but it going through a chemical resin isn't good for you.

RO's are for making pure drinking water, so I don't see why not. Actually my RO's outlet says 'to faucet' lol.

i have has some ro pure water, its nice and pure tasting surprisingly. Di resin is like some kind of acid or something so i wouldnt drink it after that.

I was told the right thing then.  Mate also said the same that ROs are used for drinking water so it must be ok.....before DI.

Saw this machine in Thailand a few weeks ago...there drinking it there but that is no indication of saftey

The resin you buy is not food quality. Also the containers are not very hygenic. If you want to drink it it probably won't kill you but I don't recommend it.i
