r/o what is best
« on: February 10, 2008, 02:38:52 pm »
I live in kent and have a tap TDS of 310 which my r/o man 200gpd pumped system gets down to 8 then my DI dose the rest to 0.
So just wondering if a 4040 RO would get it down more befor DI as i was told that a high pressure 4040 would do so?
Is this true and what could the end result be?

any ifo would be good

thanks joe

a good 4040 on sufficient pressure would most likely bring the tds down to something similar, the real advantage of a 4040 is its ability to produce lots of water, they last a lot longer too if looked after.
I've never been to bed with an ugly bird but I've woken up with loads!

i use a 4040 and i get it down to between 10 and 11 from 320 ish so its quite reasonable and the production rate is very good.
