Ask Alex Gardiner. I take it you mean replacing them because they are worn.

Sean Rimmer (Brodex) said on a post recently that you will have to 'bash' off the old clamp, breaking the glue to then refit with new clamps.

Alex, you are a tinker, you have hyphenated the word bash, which is a word that I didnt use. You obviously have your reasons..!

You're right.  I've just checked your past posts and what you said was -

Hi Trevor, you can remove clamps from Prolong poles, unlike composite poles, where the resin glue invariably rips off the composite surface.
The usual technique is to either twist the clamp off with a large pair of mole grips or slide a large adjustable spanner up the tube repeatedly to loosen the bond. Ensure that you clean any old resin off the tube and inside clamp, before rebonding.

but isn't bashing exactly what you're going to do to the clamp with a large adjustable spanner?  Not that there's anything wrong with a bit of 'bashing'! (inverted commas, not hyphenated, by the way)

If the clamp mechanism on an X-Tel wears then you can very simply just replace the two parts of the mechanism as they have one bolt holding the handle on and the other part clips off. The only part that is bonded to the pole is the clamp housing which has no moving parts to wear. The clamp mechanism on the X-Tel range is a very clever design, just wish I had been the designer and held the Patents to them  :)

I think Alex was just trying to be helpful because Sean doesnt come on here regularly, he was simply imparting something he had heard previously to help another member. Sometimes things are easily misuderstood though  :) Luke
