I made a swivel out of a stanley paintpad handle and the pole just pushes onto it.
Could you not cut the tapered end off and use and unger adapter with a threaded end.
I will have a look at the the diameter tomorrow and see if one will fit. Dai

Dai, just out of interest, did Jdemarco ever get in touch with you regarding taking you up on his offer of showing you how to become a millionaire window cleaning? I personally think he was full of wind and couldn't back up his outrageous claims. I expect he justs surfs on here under a different name nowadays.

No not a word, He said he was too busy over Christmas and would take me out for a day in January.
Since he has not contacted me since, and has not been posting on here, I don't want to embarrass the guy by pursuing it further. Dai

The unger number one section will just fit inside these Harris poles. I converted mine today.
Just cut off or remove the tapered end, slide a six inch length of Unger number one inside the pole, I pop riveted it to hold it in place, finally just drill a 5m hole through the 6 inch piece to take a standard threaded Unger adapter. A very handy 5 meter pole for under £15. dai

I know alot of people were sceptical but i wasn't sure. I did wonder as jd was new to the game that he was commanding better prices than dai hence his claims. No offence to dai, but i did wonder as he has been going for so long if his prices hadn't risen with inflation over the time, which might have explained the discrepancy between the 2 window cleaners working the same area (ish).
