I am guessing you are trad cleaning them, as wfp is a piece of cake on leads.

when I was trad I used to use a spary bottle myself with a little fairy in it (that is now a swear word to me)  ;D

When you switch don`t say it`s for tops only cos it won`t be for long trust me,i know you don`t want to hear it but WFP goes through leads like a hot knife through butter, rub rub and rub you`ll never get em spotless with scrims-microfiber cloths.Get on the pole ASAP.

They are a pain to do trad with salt on them. The newer one with bevelled lead strips can be done with an applicator, blade, and a final polish with scrim or micro fibre cloth. Salty leads trad, are a time consuming business. Dai

thought i would get burnt for that last post but thats waht this place is about ...opinions,i have little doubt that the day i get wfp i will probably try a downstairs window with it and never look back all i meant was was fundamentally wfp was brought in for health and safety reasons for above ground level windows i know sometimes some downstairs are dangerous but i just thought from a domestic customers point of view they would appreciate the h&s issue of upstairs but may not be so keen downstairs?
