Note + SAE for the win, easier for you and for the customer.
I couldn't agree more, I used to collect but have changed over to sae looked at my debt list today and no one owes me a penny, I did finish Wednesday though through lack of work  ::)  I did miss out on a £65 job today because I refused to do it for £50 swings and roundabouts I guess.
