Further to your advice, as quoted below:

I think I am also doing this, or something similar, but -

When the brush is being moved from right to left across the window, do you lift the right side of the brush or the left side (in other words - do the touching bristles follow the jets of water, or do the jets of water follow the bristles)?

I was explaining the most simple way for someone to learn how to rinse on but the way i do it day in day out is like you say,if you have a good flow rate like i do once you`ve finished scrubbing the glass i go to the top of the window and move the brush to the right hand side of the window,i then tilt the brush this means the left hand side is lifted off the glass.Because you have enough water coming out of the brush the left hand jet will rinse the left hand side while the right hand jet will be rinsing as your pulling the brush down,this is only possible to do properly if you have enough water at the brushead otherwise the left hand jet won`t reach the left hand side of the window,it does work i do it on every house i do and the results are spot on.

Also the quickest way to clean gergion windows or small panes is done in the same way,what i do on small windows is scrub tilt scrub tilt on every pane it saves having to scrub and then go back and rinse,i tell you what i`ve found this method to be almost twice as fast as normal WFP methods on these small windows,again i do this daily and results are spot on.

Sorry, NWH, I still don't understand.

As I rinse, left to right, I lift the right side of the brush, and as I return from right to left I lift the left side of the brush.

I do this with each stroke and sometimes work my way down the whole of the window, doing the same movement.

Is this what you mean - or am I doing it wrong.

By using my method you can see how more water will rinse easier and make the job much quicker,by using piddly amounts of water forget this method.

i use vikan, flocked, and i have to rinse brush off, as the bits are everywhere.... e.g.

i do a conservatory... finish it , after a good scrub and a good rinse with plenty of water using the up down flick method for rinsing,...... all done.... then i check out where i started... lo and behold... bits and more bits... rinse again and go...... thats only sometimes.....

im starting to wonder if the bits are in my water.

LOL,i was just waiting for you to do something like that,it`s a 9" salmon with bristles that are not available anymore i`m afraid,don`t worry i`ve seen the new brush of Alex`s and hopefully it should give the same results.What you could do is buy a 15" soft narrow salmon and cut it down with care,it`s lighter than the Bentley and far far better if i new how to post pics and vids i would.
