bought a new charger last week (as I accidentally sprayed the last one while filling the tanks in the vans (the pump is a 320ltr/min sub pump so it was loads of water over the charger) - I bought a Ring Smart Charger 16Amp, £60 but a really good piece of kit, it can repair damaged/old batteries and have already fixed 2 old batteries which weren't holding any charge (both 130Ah) so its made its money back already.

well worth buying.
I've never been to bed with an ugly bird but I've woken up with loads!

If you run a leisure battery below 20% charge it will damage it permanantly.
Every time it happens it will get smaller.

I got mine 8 months ago and had to get it replaced last week.(luckily free)
It must be charged every night so that it's kept topped up.

I couldn't have put that better myself, I wont tell you how old mine is but its old and I bet you its the oldest battery on here, its charged every night without fail, if I have a week off, then it stays on charge ( BTW I have the Intelligent charger)
