Types of clean
« on: February 03, 2008, 08:31:56 pm »
After being in the business a few months now and reading this forum regularly.

I still am a bit confused about the difference between various types of clean.

Is there a set list of what is included in each clean anywhere.

i.e. what is included in a weekly clean, a spring clean, a sparkle clean, a builders clean, an EOT clean...etc.

For example I might agree to do the plug sockets in a sparkle clean and find out that this is an EOT clean. Which one includes skirting or which one includes windows...etc.

Perhaps everyone's version is different.

In fact there are probably other types of cleans apart form what I have mentioned which makes it even more confusing.

Can anyone help me out on this one? Particularly helpful if there are any set lists anywhere.

Many thanks.

Brian.

A difficult question to answer, Brian, as everyone's ideas will be different. I try not to 'pigeon hole' my jobs but be as flexible as possible, offering customers exactly what they want.

Even with weekly cleans, some customers demand a higher standard than others and pay accordingly.

If anyone specifically asks for a 'spring clean', I would move all furniture and clean everything. However, I have some customers who demand this every week.
