could do with some advice plz?
« on: January 31, 2008, 02:20:00 pm »
Hi every1 ive been window cleaning using ladders for 5 years,in the next couple of weeks im changing to wfp.Theres a shop opening v shortly who are installing wfp systems.Ive been reading alot of posts and the diy seems to be popular. As im not that expeirenced in this method instead of messing about trying to fit it myself just to save a bit of £,im thinking of just getting it all installed, but i want to no what you think of value for money?Ive done my research and i think its quite reasonable? Its a 650lt van mount costing 3k including fitting and vat,18ft pole, and 50m microbore.i live in a hard water area,so it comes with 4 or so pre filters, carbon, softner e.t.c.it has a salt back wash,40inc ro,big di vessel, tds, and a few other bits.Similar systems by outreach e.t.c are more pricey £4000-£5000,and a system by pure freedom without the 40inch ro and pre filters,is still around £2500.Any coments would be much appreciated! p.s apparrently with this set up i wont need to replace anything for quite a while, because each filter e.t.c prelongs the life of each other.Sorry if it dosent make sense!lol.

Hi Mike

welcome to the forum

although ive known you a few years  ;D

you would get a better response if you posted this on window cleaning issues

you are definately making the right choice changing over to wfp, if your going to spend 3k on a system try and post the actual name of the business and the name of the system see if anyone has heard of them and see if its any good.  Also find out what make of pole it is and get 100 meters of microbore in with it

speak to you next week

Brett
