Its slimmer than the old Bentley and made for either J.Sainsburys or more likely Tesco. I will remeber to have a look and get back to you at the weekend. The bristles are not as flocked and longer so you could always trim the length with scissors as you have also found that the flocking holds dirt - as you could do with your current Bentley brush to remove the flocking. Splays well.
Think its Tesco !

Jeff,( Brimble ) are the `T` connectors running to your goof plug `jets`
A hozelock type or make? Also it says on the packet by the looks of it
Anyway that the outside diameter of the pipe is 13 millimeter. Is this
Right or am reading it wrong? What is the inside diameter size to the jets.?

Lewis, T's are from B&Q micro irrigation range. They fit 4mm ID Algarde hose.
The 13mm refers to the larger pipe range  that the plugs are meant to repair.
You drill the goof plugs whatever size jet you want , try  4x 1.5m they push fit into the Algarde hose you have.

Jikwan have you tried the Monfilament Addis Brush from Focus stores.

yes jeff-got the adddis from focus
great scrubber-but im using 20ft skyblue (with a little whip to it-not much)
it wobbles and bounces about so much    i have very little control
i think the addis performs best with fishpoles or ridgid clamped poles
seems its because of its short length

apparently the new bently is a tesco brush
it looks good in photo

im thinking...........ever tried a very very lightweight yardbrush?
a mono with thicker guage bristles----------perhaps cutting off a few tufts here and there?

Bentley do a nice 18" light yard brush in grey with stiffer longer brustles. But they are too stiff. Its a bit like a wire brush in that only the bristle tips contact the glass. So although its got great scrubbing power the spaces between the bristles dont get cleaned and you have to go back and too a lot to get coverage. I did think of trying it with a row of bristles removed to get more splay.
The Bentley is made by Bentley but supplied to Tesco and maybe others including Sainsburys- I think. Tesco brushes come in boxes with Bentley on them.
If you are using a glass fibre telescopic with the Unger insert fitted/glued into the no4 section then leave that No4 section  inside the no5 section during normal use and only extend/use the top No4 section when going high. It stiffens up the pole.

not using the unger insert just yet

slimmed the new 10m skypole to 20ft max-got rid of all thin top sections

i know the bently yre taling about--i bought the 12" grey-stiff as hell
from wilcos

my idea is...............
the thickest guage bristle youve seen--and a proper yardbrush
its neither of the two--its inbetween
thick guage bristle but bendy enough to give splay

if you remember-i posted the fact that to get splay you just need to remove
cenral rows of bristles

crazy idea yes!

if such a bristle is located we make a killing

what interested me about your photo of "the new bently" was the bristles
looked so thick

So have you been able to try/comapre  the new and old 10m skypoles. ?
Just magnified both brushes bristles, they look the same except that the Tesco ones are 1/2" longer.
They both have the intermix of flocked and monofilament, the Tesco one has 6 rows across  and the old bentley 5 rows. I think the tesco one splays better because its got longer bristles and they are closer set in the brush and do not stand off the glass so much.

ells teeth youll have me counting the bristles per shank next  ::)

the new 10m skyblue is pretty much flawless
i posted quite a bit about it on a certain irish forum

it locks fairly well
i can raise it fully extended horiz to vertical using 250g sawn off vikan
not a bad pole

never had an old stile skyblue to compare it with

you like crazy ideas?

take a fairly heavy guage plastic tube--(the wall has to be at least 1/8" thick
drill 3/4/6 holes in it      1mm/2mm
must have drill press+vice clamp for accuracy and even ness---i dont have any of those

stick 2 tubes into both ends    strap to brush---cheap indestructable jets
