The Doctor is feeling unwell
« on: January 25, 2008, 05:58:24 pm »
Just got back out of hospital.

Had my nose straightened out-it's rather nice being able to breathe properly again (or it will be as soon as the swelling goes down).

Great to be back and reading up on all the forum news.

Now I know why it's quiet in January; you can catch up on having operations without loosing too much business.

Thank goodness for private health insurance. Bit ironic the doctor being poorly.

And by a strange quirk of fate I used to clean the carpets in this hospital!

Hi Carpetworx

Yes it stops the snoring.

And your mouth doesn't feel like the bottom of aa parrot cage in the morning either.

The operation straightens out the septum (the bit of cartiledge that seperates the two nostrils) so there is a good flow of air.

You sleep better and feel better in the morning with more energy.

How do I know? Well, I had the same operation about 10 years ago but not performed by such a good surgeon.

O yes and I also forgot to say that the surgeon is one of my clients.

How's that for an even smaller world?
