Is it Me  or do you find that people that only have the ups cleaned are more likely to sack you when you go WFP.. I have losed about three so far.. Not bothered though i've picked up better customers 

They try to save the pennies on cleaning the downs themselves then you clean the tops all you get is, I cleaned the bottoms last week....

As if you don't start at the tops in the first place

Maybe it's because the running water splashing onto & dirtying the bottoms

I wouldn't entertain a "tops only" job personally. (camel's rectum in a sand storm springs to mind :)

I'm with macmac there, I don't even consider 'tops only' jobs. We are WFP, so you would end up doing the bottom for nothing.... no chance

i do a few houses just tops, i took them over from the last guy, it makes me laugh when the water drips down on the lower windows

they pay me, and they have for over 4 years now, so no harm

I never do just top windows, over the years I have learned that those people are a waste of time and effort. They winge and wine about how the job is done and they never want to pay. Maybe a way forward with these people is for us all to refuse the job unless its the whole job. I really don't like people who just want the ups done.

I would not say no to any customer they pay min charge or more depending on the amount of up onlys  I am happy tops bottoms at the end of the day we are window cleaners this is are job.

I know a Window cleaner that employs me to do their windows, Says it all really

in my expierence with customers that only want upstairs cleaned its because they are tight and dont want to pay much so they try and cut the cost down by only having the tops, but this does pose a problem when your doing them wfp

if you are a trad cleaner and you work in pairs having a lot of tops only can slow you down

 Totally with Matt I have no problem what so ever in cleaning a customers top windows,it may be that they are just tightening their purse strings and as long as you charge pro rata you can,t lose .

I,m flexible with my customers as I appreciate their business and don,t want to lose it.
