I enjoyed reading his posts and always understood him. I thought he was very funny and got across exactly what he was meaning to say.

I think he's a smashing bloke and don't feel sorry for him in the least, apart from his being barred.

I wonder if admin will come to regret this. Shouldn't have barred windy?

I always understood Pootwo's messages, even if it took a little working out sometimes. He always had a good point to his message.
I thought it was lazy text type speak too. To hear he is dyslexic, and to hear he has been banned took me by surprise.
Come back Pootwo and give us another chance!  :)

Just to correct anyone who thought I was taking the mick out of this bloke, I certainly was NOT.

I just found the word 'eeg' to be an amusing slip of the keyboard which we all do from time to time, that's all. It's no more sinister than that.

Why was his account verified under that name in the first place then?

Just a thought gang..........been off for a few days but reading this post with intrigue. Wouldn't it have been adviseable had poo emplained from the outset that he had dyslexia? The reason i say this is because if he had, then no-one..........no-one on here would have laughed or taken the micky. I would say, knowing the people i do on here, that we would have made a more concerted effort to help the guy out.

I said that Rosy, as your AV has troubled me  :-\

Its not that your a bloke with a girls name, its that you have a frenchman smelling a loaf of bread.

Everytime I come on here at some stage I'll see it and say 'Whats that all about ?'

If it was a girls name it would be spelt 'Rosie'.

Hi

This is the email I got from Peter Daley after I asked him to stop swearing and re-register using a real or company name.

"At 17:13 22/01/2008, you wrote:
How come I have been banned from this site for using infered words that I've copied from other peoples posts on this site. And I have not been abusive to any other member which some of the members on this site have been towards me."

I don't have time to play games and nor do most other members!

I was the first person to reply to pootwo's post, And I admit that my response was entirely tongue in cheek.  It probably caused some of the others who read the thread to continue in the same manner, as we all know sometimes these threads take on a life of their own.

I for one am not sorry for my post (I am sorry if it caused upset), If their was a similar post today I would probably respond in a like fashion, not because I am uncaring, but because I treat people on this open forum the same as I would treat them if I met them face to face.

Pootwo, I am sure that you meet adversity in every day life (don't we all) as well as on this or other forums, I will not do you the discourtesy of treating you any different to anyone else because I think that that would bring attention to your issue or issues. Live and let live

Is Peter Daley 'pootwo'?  If so, then his email to Mike doesn't look anything like his posts with all the supposed text errors or whatever.

I read somewhere that it was his wife that wrote the email to admin and not pootwo.

yes me too. I hope he comes back.
Am suprised he was asked to re-register under his real name though as most don't use their whole name or even company name to login.

I don't use my real name. (I am registered with the correct details).

There have been instances of this forum crossing over into real life and arguments or imagined slights being carried on. No matter what you do or say you always seem to wind someone up.
