Van on stilts
« on: January 22, 2008, 06:36:06 pm »
Completely drained my van tank today so that the local garage can have a look at improving the strapping for me, as i presently only have spreader plates under the floor and although the tank has never budged a millimetre, i want peace of mind. Anyway my Despatch van has been getting taller everytime i go out to it i can't believe how much the suspension is compressed with the weight of my 650 litre tank - in fact it is quite scarey to think of all that weight sat behind me.

That's funny because it's the same van, Your suspension is already compressed even with half a tank of water i would imagine. ;)
