How to wire a flojet to switch and battery?
« on: January 21, 2008, 05:04:13 pm »
I want to setup my flojet pump on its own. There is no varistream.
There are 3 wires, 2 brown and 1 another colour. I think is black.
1 of the brown wires goes back into the pump so that is taken care of i think.
The other 2 wires are what i dunno. Do i wire them both to a rocket switch (separate connections) and then run 2 leads from the battery and connect them to the switch. Or do i run 1 of the wires straight to the battery?
A diagram would be really useful if anyone knows. Ive tried a couple of ways but nothing happens. The pump still works if i wire it straight to the battery. So nothing is blown.

The black wire needs wiring directly to the earth.  The orange wire needs wiring into one end of a switch with the other end of the switch wired into a permanent feed. This should do it.
