I had a set of Youngmans and took them back after a month, they were really cr-p. the play were the rungs joined the uprights made the thing unstable. They gave me a set of Lyte ladders with D rungs, they were brilliant. Dai

I have had a set of youngmans for about 15 years and they are great

But maybee they have changed manufacturer or something as they do seem by your posts to have changed

Mind you I also paid top money back then so I just do not know

Just thought it might be a help for some of they guys trying to get a first step up on the ladder of window cleaning as it were to buy these as a starting point
