We all know about knocking doors to sell w/c services but what about selling a gutter cleaning service to industrial units?
If you knock a 1000 house doors and get a one percent 'yes' response, that gets you 100 jobs, and that's a lot of door knocking! Not impossible, but hard wwork, and that's possibly in an area with compact houses.
When it comes to industrial/commercial gutter cleaning, what's the best way to promote the service? These sorts of customers are spread out all over town, and so going knocking on doors sounds like a bad idea to me. Is writing letters the answer? If so, who do you address your letter to? Do you send a brochure of some sort, explaining what you do and costs etc?
