If ur Scudo is a standard payload u can't carry a 650 ltr tank full of water with all the other kit.

No1 The 250 mile away one anytime. I know coz I have 2 from the suppliers  :)

You could and probably should change the 24ft pole for a X-Tel hybrid one. They are great and u will still have a couple of hundred change from sys No2. Also I am sure if u ask they will put u a couple of pole hangers in. They tend to do these things anyway. Also the Hybrid and small pole will fit inside ur van. The predator and the 24ft fibreglass ones wont.

Purefreedoms back up is superb so don't let the distance sway you. I guessed in ur last post about this sys it was a Freedom one :)

Balconies, with bars?

for them you need quite a long pole, at least 30ft, you put the pole through the bar and have to walk backwards until the pole is almost vertical and clean almost normally, modular poles make light work of this but telescoping ones are a pain

They use quality products and they are WC`s and use every product they sell, there systems are properly fitted into vehicles and are tried and tested. The minibore they now sell is 1st class, much better than the older stuff.
