The diamond back here in the states has some pretty strong 5.7" vac motors, I assume a similar arrangement in the UK machines?

cheers lads.  The machine will be for sale shortly.  Do you think its worth putting new vac motors in it?  Was only thinking of doing it so that whoever buys it has a dependable machine.

What would it be worth with or without new vac motors?  no hoses or tools just the actual unit.  The casing has seen better days, no leaks though.

Richie.

Personally I would put it on Ebay

You could put two motors in from Woodbridge for about £80.
But they would not be the origional.

So put it on Ebay and let who ever buys it make their own mind up.

A carpet Cleaner might buy it as back up

I would not pay a lot of notes
