Who's insurance covers the glass?

that they are working on? If not would the customers own insurance not cover them anyway?

The fed's insurance cover glass that you are working on I believe, but with a £250 excess, there are not many windows, that you will be able to claim, for that save you money.

You have to check carefully as more and more insurers are excluding 'property being worked on'. Same with roofs you may walk on flat or otherwise. It pays to be sure.

i have only broken a few over the years , and it has been cheaper / easier to pay for repairs .
