we have a 2.0HDI expert - I prefer it as a work van over the Transporter T30 we have.

Plenty of room and load carrying capacity but very reliable, goes well, twin side doors all round great van

i have an 02 dispatch. Non turbo. Not quick with a 400litre tank etc, but nice to drive. It's amazing how small a space you can reverse into. If i had to buy again i would buy the same.

i had mine a year, had 15,000 on the clock when i got it, great for parking as mark says.

I got a 450 litr in it, with 25 ft and 18 ft poles inside.

Roofs not too high to get ladders and steps off, side doors mean if you fix your reel on top of your tank you can work from either side and it's a good physical position to wind back in. Easy to park on peoples drives.

Is the despatch the one with 3 seats in the front. Thinking about gettin a van, after you have put a tank in the back and all your gear is there enough room to put any extra seats or seat in.

Mr S what is the biggest tank that your van can hold safely?

Justin from cleantech did a calculation on here. He said 500l. I don't know if mine has the 900kg payload or not.

My tank is flat.

I call back and refill with a transfer pump, and sometimes carry 25l containers to get me through away from home.

I use a high flow rate and feel I have to for the speed I work at.

On these smaller vans the layout in the back is important. I carry a lot more stuff than Mick. On bigger vans you have more room. (obviously)

I'll be getting a different van sometime this year.

I was going to go for something bigger than a dispatch/scudo, maybe a VW Transporter or a Merc Sprinter SWB... I need more room now for pressure washing equipment etc...

Does the new version have an uprated payload from 900kg to 1200kg?

I use to have a scudo before. I want a new van this year and would strongly consider the new scudo if it's the 1200kg version, preferably in lwb with high roof otherwise it wil have to be a tranny.

The old scudo 2.0JTD I had I use to bomb around in it. I've got the police fine and penalty points to prove it. I use to find it a very good van overall, good on mpg. BUT I use to go through brakes and suspension (lots of speed bumps around), like they didn't exist. May have been because I was heavy footed and didn't like lifting my foot off the accelerator pedal
