Ground Floor office suite Pricing
« on: January 17, 2008, 03:50:46 pm »
Hi,

Every one and anyone

great forum! this is my first post and I am hoping for some real guidence here

The information I am giving is a bit vague I know but I am only after a ball park figure and some help how to price.

At the end of the day I feel lucky that I have been given the chance to quote. I can easily do thwe work but feel I would lose it on incorrectly pricing. I find most of it comes down to price or you get the contract simply because of who you know. But thats just my opinion

I am new to pricing one off commercial builders cleans. This is for an office. Its on the ground floor and has around 20 indidual offices on this floor. We are to do the whole floor that all 20 offices, with corridors and 2 lifts and a stairwell

there are 2 changing rooms and 4 toilets of average size. Half the area is is vinyl floor covering and will need to be spray buffed.

The rest vacuumed, and normal cleaning like removing dust and polishing and cleaning the fitting ect.

There are around 4 areas (offices) that will be treatment rooms that will need to be deep cleaned and sanitized.

Any idea on hop long it would take? 1 days work 2 days? I am just after at least a ball park guide here any help would be appreciated. We could use a team of 2 or 4.

I cant wait for the replies im too exceited

hi dave.

it sounds great,

if you have a team of 4, then i would think it will take you at least 3 days, but price for 4 days just incase,

then i would charge £14 per person per hour,  take about 6hrs a day,  = 24 hrs.

then pay your cleaners £6 per hr

so i would think a price in the region of £1344.00

£144 to pay the cleaners.
£100 for the material,
and the rest is yours

if this sounds expensive try £1000, and your still quids in ;D

thanx jonny

you wouldnt be far off.

Its exacly how I was going to price it... so I cant be that far out with the pricing I do.

Thanks for the quick responce... and advice really is appreciated.

if its a big company rpobably vat registered, they dont look at the including vat,  because they can get away with it as you do.

Watch your equipment doesn't go walkabout!!!!

We did a builders clean in Liverpool once for a large company in the NW who shall remain nameless...nightmare. Despite having 'site security' on patrol 24hrs.....most of the kit was stolen from a 'secure' room on the premises.
