At last the weather was better today, so went out and worked a full day. Used my new but 2nd hand palm m130 with pocket george installed and started at the first house on the round, finished up, knocked on the door, took the cash and said goodbye to the old chap and told him see ya next month opened up george and found him on my list, tapped his address to open the job details bit and entered that he'd paid, made sure the date was right and pressed "o.k"

But then I noticed that his name hadn't gone from the list! *bugger!* it would be a lot easier if it was taken out of the list so all that was left was the ones I had left to clean 

I assumed I would have to just keep to the order of the list so I wouldn't forget or lose track of what I had done but after a bit of a fiddle with things on the screen I realised........... I hadn't chose "DUE" in the drop down menu  :     I felt like a right spanner for a minute but that soon wore off when I realised how handy this pda & george are gonna be!

The rest of the day was so much easier and I'm sure quicker too using this instead of paper and pen, its made window cleaning less of a task already and when I got home I just sat the pda in its cradle and hotsync'd, a few seconds later, all done, time for dinner and a beer or two  cant wait for the next dry day to do it all over again

Yeah, I found that one out later too a really handy little feature isn't it! tells you how much you've earnt so far etc etc. I'm loving it at the mo, what a handy program

We often run three pda's at once and they are a godsend compared to using books.

We quite often have two teams on the one estate and they each have their own pda.  At the end of the day simply download each and print them off and it tells you how much each team has earned, how much they have taken, etc. 

They also use the notes section on the pda to record new houses, new prices, changes, or to leave any other notes for me like if they need more tickets/slips, etc
