Buying 650 ltr ibc. Is this one good value?
« on: January 16, 2008, 12:49:02 pm »
http://www.etatron.co.uk/products.php?categoryID=1&level_1=WATER+STORAGE+TANKS&level_2=BAFFLED+WATER+TANK&level_3=650L+Upright+Baffled+Water+tank&show=1&keep_level3_open=1

Carriage for me is £55 so about £225.  Can anyone recommend anywhere cheaper??

Is the 8 inch lid adequate to get  sub-pump in??

Thanks

I had a 1k IBC years ago and I couldn't even give it away!   In the end the bloke who took it to use on his lottie gave me a bottle of red wine.

How about searching on one of thoe Freecycle sites?  You'd be amazed what people are giving away.

I've seen many cheaper second hand but I've been told they may not be 100% sterlie as you don't know what's been in them. The price Clean has shown me looks good though.

Granted it has to be clean. Some here say that they have them with lime juice in them etc and just pressure wash them out.

Getting a clean one might be the tough bit.
