« on: January 15, 2008, 09:25:47 am »
because i use the snap on type connectors, i cant connect to customer water supply when cleaning a con roof, who uses these? and do they sell adaptors from them to hoselock type,

i prefer the snap on and dont fancy changing them all round again.

Can't you just make up a short adapter hose say 12" with your connector on one end and hoselock on the other?
I have one I made up for just that purpose.

I use them, I also take a spare standard hose not for con roofs, but Alex does adapters I swear I have seen them on his site.

same as vince. I cut off 12 inches of microbore and pushed it through 6 inches of 1/2 inch tube held with jubilee clip. With a hozelock on the end of 1/2 inch hose. ez snap connector on end of microbore.

I got a 8 - 12" length of 10mm od 6mm id hose and put a female shrader on one end and a male hoselock with 6mm barb on the other then just plug into the Hoselock connector on the custies hose and away you go ;)

For £15 I bought myself a 10' carwash pole that connects to custy's taps, I use this rather than use my window brush's.

Asked Kirsty to make one up for me, just over £11 + vat+delivery, so will be the price of a small car, but i know it will be right first time.
