Think he sold it to Shaun, how I think has sold it on again, or visa versa, by the way you can use any machine as a booster.

I thin he sold it on. I did feel that the 135psi pump was too big for the suction and when I used it on small jobs I would change the nozzles on my tools to smaller ones so as not to leave the carpet/upholstery too wet.

I don't think heat would make too much difference unless there is a smaller pump, if that were the case say 60psi yes it would be a must.

Shaun

PS with a Scorpion you shouldn't need a booster, you can just move it closer to the target.

Shaun, was it you who bought it off Dave Washbrook, and you sold it on, and that person has sold it on?
Or have I got it wrong?

I found 100psi ideal for this type of machine.
I had a Sphere and the heat was tremendious, it  was an ideal machine for upholstery cleaning as it took up no room and with a 10 ft hose it was idea in a lounge.

Paul it sounds just as I was trying to say, the 135 psi pump was too powerful although I don't think Joe cleans with heat.

I fill the supply tank 2/3 full with very warm tap water which on a warmish day stays ok till a top up (nice having a break for few minutes - getting on you see).
When it gets really cold & machine outside I probably start to use the inline heater that I bought off Spencer with the machine. Its a 2 chamber heater and just one supplies good heat.
I thought the pump on the Mighty One was 100psi, or did they have a bigger one initially?

While we are talking upgrades etc how does the heat in perfect heat compare to the steam generated by truckmounts or Garys (Pauls) set up

Good choice Jeff1966, in my opinion.
Thats what I bought 2 years ago and loved it although its is now for sale - so if you want to expand and work another machine!

Just upgraded its replacement machine, a Scorpion. Fitted a conversion to take it to 2" hoses and its made a BIG difference in performance for not a lot of money ie new 2" suction hoses.
That means there will be some 1.5" suction hose for sale soon as well.

Is it not possible to get a BIGGER vac' motor rather than multiplying. I came accross a FOUR vac' machine a couple of days ago.

Shaun

what I so not understand about you Carpet Cleaning Millionaire you buy a secondhand piece of kit  try it and then keep selling them on.

I remember a Rotvac that appeared to go round the Country three times.

Are the machines no good.
