Diesel or other

For those people who have Diesel water heaters. What other fuel types do you use. At the moment im running mine from red diesel but have been told soon the law is changing and that a tax increse will be added to red diesel . European minimum level of tax, which is around 20 pence per litre (a 12 pence increase on the current level of taxation on red diesel). But the government suggests they may have to impose the full 49.35 pence per litre road duty rate. Although the derogation expires shortly, it may take several months for the UK legislation to be altered.
So if this happens what alternative fuel would and what will you use
