Hello all,

My misses helps with the admin (and takes all the money & credit for my succes!)

I have sacked her at least dozen times (then beg for her to come back!)

Do any of you have similar problems. (looking for support & the answer!)

I know EXACTLY what you mean.

This year my wife took over the admin because it was getting too much for me to do both. I have been having problems because some days I could go out and half my customers would be out, locked gates etc.

Now she acts like she is in charge. She organises my day, tells me who to go and see and bo11ocks me for missing out jobs etc.

I know what you mean too. My worse crime is coming on here.

As you say all the success is down to her. I have a very successfull market business, but felt a new challenge and fresh money was required. After going through the options of a lot of franchises (some mean't selling the house) she let me settle on wc because it was less disruptive.

So I go each morning with her set biz one up, then go home jump into seperate wc van and off I go.The main thing I get told off for is spending money, and she now class's herself as the breadwinner.

As you know van, ro, poles, signwriting, more poles because you didn't get the right ones, booster pumps, transfer pumps, ibc tanks, pro battery chargers, changes to signwriting, hot system, george, second reel, second varistream and pump,Second heater unit,  10,000 leaflets, ladder stabilizers, van roof rack, etc etcv etc.

And every time, what do you need that for? All you do is spend money.

What I say is. I built biz one into a success by making a lot of mistakes and never being afraid to invest, She forgets that in the early days I spent a fortune and everyone told me I was mad ( what do you need a new van for?).

She's gone off to the Gym this morning while muggins here is having to go out and play catch up because of the rain on Thursday and Friday.

Its only three houses in Rickmansworth but they are big houses and I don't want to miss them. To give you an idea of the area, Martin Kemp (ex Eastenders actor and ex Spandau Ballet) lives a few doors up with his wife Shirley( Ex Wham girl). Also, I have a new lady to see, a referral.

As she who must be obeyed is walking out the door she is saying to me "Don't be late at the first house. go early before it starts raining again. And don't forget to see that lady in Woodhall Gate, she's going out at 11 oclock so you.........."

Yes dear

I had a big catch up day yesterday (saturday), but even thenI felt a bit awkward. I would love to do some on a sunday but don't have the nerve. I sometimes pre arrange a big gutter job for a sunday morning would be wary of turning up unaannouced in case I caused offence.

My wife doesn't organise the wc, yet.

Sounds just like my wife (and she doesn't do the admin...) when I am receiving my instructions. But, whenever I say "Yes dear" my wife goes mad!  :-X  ;D

You may often see a post by me were I refer to my wife, as the BOSS  :o  If it wasn't for her I would probably be in a right mess with my books, Taxman etc.  She also pays herself because its Tax deductible, she also comes out to work with me and still holds down a part time Job, we class it as a 50/50 partnership and it works very well for both of us.
