What's your lowest days taking?
« on: January 12, 2008, 07:39:27 pm »
Achieved mine this week. Thursday it was wet, very wet in the morning. By 1pm it was down to a few spots. Started at 1.30pm with a mate. Did £15 worth before the rain started again. Gave up and went home, which took me 10 minutes. Then the sun came out :-X All in all I took £7.50 :'( :'(

yeah, there's a lot of guys on here who spout about how much they easily make in a day, my best is about 340 but its all commercial, most days would be between 170 and 200 for me personally.

Some of my best earnings have been made in the rain, it makes me more determined to make as much money as possible, especially when I get comments from people walking by telling me that 'you can't clean windows in the rain'! Oh yes I can, just watch me!!!

My lowest day was half a days pay minus fuel and having to buy 2 new pumps. That was my worst day. Not so much the loss of earnings, more the frustration of 2 faulty, knackered pumps that had got the better of me :)

Much like a few others have said my lowest earnings for a day is £0.  That happens fairly often if there is bad rain.  The most I have ever made in a day is about £80 and that only happens once in a blue moon.  Needless to say my business in on its deathbed.

A fiver. LOL. Last day I worked before Christmas.... started a £10 house, did the back....came round to the front and my pump had died. Didnt even make that technically, as when I returned to do it again in the New Year, I redid the back :P:P
