Used george for the first time tonight to go and collect my debts, wow! how much easier than messing about with bits of paper and pens!? 

I just wanna ask though, how do you upload it onto George on the p.c? I thought you'd just hotsync it and that would do it but when I did that it just put the whole debt list back onto the pda  :

Paul will be along in a bit but it may be something like, you have to hot sync the palm device twice when you install it. Dont worry he will sort it.

Are the debts you collected still on the list if they are mark them as paid again then do a hot sync again as like jeff said you need to do two hot syncs the first time of using
Its just so you can play around with it so you can learn a bit about it

I had the play around like george website says to do when you first put pocket george on, and then I downloaded the configuration utility so I could use it for real and did the two hotsyncs as it reccomended and then downloaded my weeks work and last weeks debt list. Then today collected as many debts as poss leaving just 4 debts left to collect next time.

then i did what i said in my first post above.
i'll try and sync it again and see what happens in a sec!

Without meaning to cause offence on pocket george you select the debt click on paid then ok is this what you are doing?

yes mate, thats why theres only 4 or 5 debts left on the screen now, otherwise it wouldnt have removed them (i think im correct?)

Thats strange if i was you i would email the guy direct and he will solve your problem unless someone else on here knows the solution as its not a problem that i have come up against

Just remembered i was speaking to another w/c yesterday that has just started with george he said their is an activate pocket george function
This is possibly in the system/settings menu part on your pc you can try looking in this section

I dont know mate i wasn't sure what he was talking about and its that long since i downloaded george i cant remember all the things i had to do
so instead of relying on my rather poor knowledge of the workings of it email george direct and have the problem solved by the man who knows

Hi Dean, yup all sorted now. I had to run a utility program and check the box for live updates, works fine now
