About a week at the moment. Roll on the summer. Let's hope it isn't a washout like last year...  :(

You must have been one of the lucky ones. I got rained off lots of days (for the summer) and from what I remember so did lots of others on here.

Most of the rain was at night or weekends.
Or it lashed it down all morning and I worked later.
Or I got rained off after 12.

How many days did it rain all day?
Not many.

Bear in mind I'm 30 miles from Gloucester, so we had the worst of it.

Squeaky, I am not disputing your experience. What I experienced is another matter. I got rained off numerous times during the summer - and I don't mean all day, but enough to make life more difficult than it should be at that time of year. I am sure there were numerous threads at the time of others saying pretty much the same as me.

Last summer was terrible. Lots of all day raining here in norfolk.

I cant understand how rog only lost 5 days????

I can remember looking at the weather and most of the uk was washed out on quite a few days. Maybe you were just lucky in your area.
Why oh Why did he spell my name as bod & not bob on my wedding invites.

I'm a couple of days behind with some work, up to date with some other work and about a week behind with yet more work.  None of this is due to weather or Christmas though. It is due to me taking on some extra work. The work that's a week behind I'm OK with because I want to merge two neighbouring villages so that I do them about the same time.  Therefore, I have allowed it to get a bit behind.

I,m up to date. I missed a load last week due to the frost and snow. I told them I'd be back next month, rather than trying to squeeze them in and give myself a big backlog and headache. They were all happy with that, most were surprised I bothered to tell them and some were very grateful to be kept in the picture. At least i know that they know i haven't just p*ssed off and forgotten about them.
